    Interview: Latehomecomer Kao Kalia Yang
by Mark Weaver, TC Daily Planet
Kao Kalia Yang ’s book The Latehomecomer tells the story of her family’s flight from Laos into Thailand , running from the North Vietnamese Army. Yang was born in the Bin Vinai Refugee Camp in 1980, and then at the age of seven came with her family to live in St. Paul.
