Develop, lead, educate, and advocate and give are four impact areas that drive our services and programs. We are intentional about developing programs and services that embraces our organizational values and our mission.

The following are services we provide to both members and non-members.

  • Workshops

    Our workshops are developed and presented by well known community members, both locally and nationally.

    Twice a month hands-on workshops that address the following training topics:

    • Financial literacy and management
    • Career development
    • Life coaching
    • Stress management
    • Productivity management
    • Communication
    • Decision-making
    • Supervising and Managing

  • Seminars

    Once a month seminars that address the following sample topics:

    • Current economic trends
    • Book discussion or research on Hmong community and economic development
    • Professional and personal development trends and issues

  • Networking Happy Hour

    PHWA provides quarterly networking meetings to help you develop personal and professional connections.

    Our Networking Happy Hours are designed to help you network and relax in a supportive, nurturing environment.

    Our Networking Happy Hours in 2008 are held on the following dates and times:

    April 24, 2008 4:00pm to 7:00pm
    July 24, 2008 4:00pm to 7:00pm
    October 9, 2008 4:00pm to 7:00pm

    Our networking opportunities are open to those interested in our work and mission.

  • Women's Peer-Support Group

    This program is specifically for Hmong women businesses and professionals who are looking for support and resources in their personal and professional lives.

    Each cohort consists of 15 Hmong women, who meet in a supportive environment, on a monthly basis. The group is peer-facilitated. The purpose is to provide a safe space for Hmong women businesses and professionals to share ideas, resources, or dialogue about issues important to women.

    This is a free service of PHWA to Hmong women businesses and professionals. To be a part of a cohort, there is an application process. Please email info@superhmongwomen.org for more information.
