Career Mentoring Program

PHWA offers a year round career mentorship program for high school Hmong girls and college Hmong women. This project has been developed in collaboration with the Hmong  Women Circle (HWC) of the Girl Scouts of Minnesota Wisconsin River Valley.  This program is a culturally appropriate and connects girls and young women to their career goals and professional needs. PHWA is the only organization that provides resources, training and services to meet the career needs of Hmong women and girls.

Personal and Professional Development Opportunities

PHWA provides monthly opportunities for women to develop their personal and professional lives with workshops and networking sessions.

Workshops feature speakers on a selected topic that impact Hmong women's lives.  These monthly opportunities also provide designated time for networking and relationship strengthening. New learnings and a solid support network is valuable to the economic transformation of Hmong women's lives.
